Dear Friends, We are committed to offering the rich intellectual resources of the program and Duke University to our students regardless of financial means. Indeed, many of our students are studying with us thanks to the generosity of Graduate Liberal Studies students, graduates, faculty, and friends. We are especially proud of the support of our graduates who have contributed to the MALS Endowment Fund so that others may share in this innovative and valuable graduate education. I appeal to you to join me in supporting the MALS Endowment Fund. All donations are used exclusively for the benefit of MALS students. Your gift, no matter the size, will nurture the GLS community, and in so doing, enrich our society with well-educated citizens able to confront the world with skills gained in a rigorous and interdisciplinary liberal education. To those of you who have given in the past, my heartfelt thanks and request that you find the means to give again. To those who have not yet donated, please join the community of GLS supporters and give as generously as you can. And again, thank you for your support. With warm wishes, |
